USE OF THE SERVICE
Terms of Use
These Terms govern access to Ẹ̀kọ́ Yorùbá. By using the Service, you agree to them. If a learner is below the age required to enter a contract, a parent or guardian must accept these Terms for that learner.
Learning service
Ẹ̀kọ́ Yorùbá provides educational content and practice tools. Pronunciation, translations, and cultural explanations are prepared with care, but the Service does not promise a particular academic result or level of fluency.
Accounts
You must provide accurate information, protect login credentials, and notify us of unauthorized use. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising a child’s use. You may not share a paid account outside your household unless your plan expressly allows it.
Trials, subscriptions, and cancellation
Eligible new subscribers receive a 14-day trial. Unless canceled before the trial ends, the selected plan renews at $12.99 monthly or $99.99 yearly, plus applicable taxes. Purchases made on the website are handled by Stripe; purchases made through an app store are governed by that store’s billing terms. Cancel through the provider used to subscribe. Access ordinarily continues through the paid period, and refunds are handled under applicable law and the payment provider’s rules.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the Service, bypass access controls, upload harmful or unlawful material, interfere with other users, scrape content at scale, reverse engineer protected portions, or use the Service to violate another person’s rights.
Content and intellectual property
The app, lessons, branding, illustrations, recordings, and software are owned by us or our licensors and protected by law. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for learning. Content you send to support remains yours, but you permit us to use it to answer and resolve your request.
Service changes
We may add, change, suspend, or remove features and content. We may restrict an account that violates these Terms or creates risk to learners, the Service, or others.
Disclaimers and liability
The Service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be waived.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms and will post a revised effective date. Continued use after an update means acceptance where legally permitted. Questions may be sent to degeekshop@gmail.com.
